6.4.15 - We're producing the third event in the IES SF's Spring Seminars on Lighting and Placemaking. This one will be on Smart City technology and looks to be including Autodesk, City of San Francisco, and other important players in this world. Stay tuned for details.

4.24.15 - Steve Lawton & Clifton Lemon will be presenting on the future of public lighting and Smart City at the California Street Light Association annual conference at the California Lighting Technology Center in Davis, CA.

4.15.15- We produced an event for the IES San Francisco Section- Lighting and Placemaking: Parks and Civic Spaces. Presenters included Jason Neches of L'observatoire International in New York, the lighting designer for the High Line in Manhattan, a watershed moment for the reclamation and revitalization of abandoned spaces in cities, and Emily Dufner of Arup San Francisco, who was the lighting designer for the 2012 Olympic Village in London and for the renovation of Leicester Square in London.

4.10. 15- We participated in the Market Street Prototyping Festival, which took place on Market Street in San Francisco and was part of the emerging movement to reach out to citizens and give them a direct voice in shaping cities. Awesome look at some urban experiments!
